VISION 2020: The Right to Sight is a global initiative of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) and the World Health Organization (the WHO), with a coalition of international Non-Governmental Organisations.

This is a joint effort of the Ministry of Health and the College of Ophthalmologists of Sri Lanka. In addition many Local and International Non-Governmental Organizations
are involved in the NationalProgramme.
